About Wireless DMX (Multiverse, ShowBaby)

Notice to IT/Sysadmin Staff

You may find a wireless DMX transmitter/receiver(s) (sometimes branded as City Theatrical, Multiverse, or ShowBaby) installed as part of your theatrical lighting system. These unit(s) are not a WiFi-based system, and do not integrate with your facility or corporate networks. Please do not modify the wireless DMX equipment installed with your lighting system.

Your KSL-installed lighting or sound system may include a wireless DMX transmitter and receiver(s) to wirelessly send DMX (lighting control signal) to your lighting fixtures. These units typically transmit in the 900MHz or 2.4GHz ranges. Though they may be connected to a lighting control network, they are not a WiFi device.

Connecting to Wireless DMX

If your lighting system is installed by KSL, your wireless transmitter and receiver(s) have already been configured as a working system. If you are looking to add additional receivers or make other changes to your system, please get in touch at dmx-network-support@goknight.net. You will need your Show ID and Show Key (typically found on a label on the wireless DMX transmitter).
